Old Boys in the News:
Arun Bharatram [ex 36-K ’58] has been appointed the President of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).
Navin Patnaik [ex 382-K ’63] has become the Chief Minister of Orissa. He is the first Old Boy to become a Chief Minister.
Anang Uday Singh Deo [ex 42-T ’62] is a Cabinet Minister in Orissa.
P.M. Das [ex 298-H ’69] has written a book entitled "Storms and Sunsets in the Himalaya: A compilation of vignettes from the experience of a Mountaineer" (Lotus Publishers, Jalandhar)
Vijay Prashad [ex 346-TB ’85] has written two books entitled: "Untouchable Freedom: A Social History of a Dalit Community (Oxford University Press, January 2000). Karma of Brown Folk (University of Minnesota, March 2000).

Commodore Indru Wadhwani [ex 50-J ’57] has been appointed the President of the Healthcare Group of Mallya Hospital in Bangalore.
Dinesh Mohan [ex 117-H ’62], the Henry Ford Professor for Transportation, Safety & Injury Prevention at IIT, Delhi was a key participant in the World Conference on Injury Prevention and Control held in Delhi in March, 2000.
Lt. Sudhanshu Kumar [ex 171-TA ’90] currently on board the INS Nirghat, was awarded a "commendation" on the 15th of August, 1999.
Mohsin Ali [ex 254-H ’39] was the moderator at a Conference held on "The 50 years Middle East Conflict-Israel and the Arabs" at Sandhills Community College in North Carolina, USA in February 2000.
Mayank Bhargava [ex 27-TB ’83] is now the Director of E-Commerce of Citibank in Stamford, Conneticut, USA.
